The Norman Exhibition - This exhibition introduces the history of castles and castle life with particular reference to the shell-keep type. The “Living Image” Baron Robert Marmion, owner of the castle, welcomes the visitor's with a brief early history of Tamworth. The room itself is part of the ground floor of the 13th century (c.1220) North Wing, which would have been used for storage or part of the kitchens in its early years.
